Use of funds
Proceeds from the Investment Notes are expected to be used, in combination with financial resources from other funding partners, to capitalize Foodshed Capital’s revolving loan fund. The loan fund is used to support the financial needs of small- and mid-scale farms and food businesses that are often underserved by traditional forms of financing.

Current investments range from $25,000 - $500,000. Investors are located in 11 states, with local, regional, or national focus. Investors include individuals, family trusts, private foundations, faith communities, other CDFI’s, state and federal governments, and values-aligned commercial banks.
