Black Food Black Futures is a project promoting whole-person health, including support regenerative Black farmers in the DelMarVa region. Since 2019, they have provided technical assistance, on-farm labor, market access, and grant support to help small-scale regenerative farmers thrive. Their mobile market, The Black Food Truck, connects local farms to underserved communities, increasing food access while creating economic opportunities for farmers.

In early 2025, a sudden freeze of federal grant funds put 85% of the organization's revenue at risk. In response, they adjusted operations, prioritizing farmer support through grant writing assistance and sustaining the Black Food Truck. A 0% interest loan from FoodCap will help bridge this gap, ensuring continued produce purchases, staffing, and market operations while they adapt and rebuild funding sources.
