BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Darrow has been a board member at Foodshed Capital since July 2021 and serves as Board Treasurer. She is a member of the board Finance Committee as well as the Loan Review Committee, advising on loan applications greater than $50,000.


Since 2016, she has worked as a Senior Commercial Loan Officer and Manager at Self-Help Credit Union and Ventures Fund, a national CDFI that supports wealth-building opportunities for women and people of color. Self-Help has branch locations in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. Prior to Self-Help, Darrow worked as a senior manager for Wholesome Wave, a Connecticut-based nonprofit organization that creates partnership-based programs that enable consumers to make healthier food choices by increasing affordable access to healthy, locally-grown foods. Darrow earned an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a Master of Public Policy, Food and Agriculture Policy from Duke University. She lives in Blacksburg, Virginia with her family.
