White Stag Farm
In Tyler Hill, PA, farm owner Brett Hogancamp is raising 100% grass-fed beef, forest-fed pork, and pastured eggs. By placing an emphasis on a naturalistic approach to farming, Brett seeks to make sustainable, humane, and healthy practices the new norm in American agriculture. His low-interest loan will serve as bridge funding through the Pennsylvania Farm Vitality Planning Grant program, which helps enhance the long-term viability of Pennsylvania farms through sound business planning, efficient transitions of farm ownership, strategic farm expansion, and diversification of agricultural production. White Stag has hired FoodCap partners at Kitchen Table Consultants to prepare a strategic long-term plan for their farm. The loan funds will cover their up-front costs, which will then be reimbursed by the state.
