Scott and Marti Coles own and operate Azul Acres in central Virginia, a diversified operation with one acre in veggie production and seven acres devoted to livestock. Using organic and biodynamic methods, their veggies, eggs, and pastured pork are marketed through their catering company, CSA, and directly to families and restaurants. Their FoodCap loan will help them expand production and extend their season with the addition of a new hoophouse.
